The Natural Products Association of Washington, D.C. recently gave out its 500th certification under the NPA Natural Seal for personal care and home care products.

American Health of Ronkonkoma, NY, (manufacturer of supplements such as Ester-C) redesigned its Web site, www.AmericanHealthUS.com. In addition to a new design, the site offers a consumer survey, a product testimonial page and an e-mail link to American Health’s Nutrition Management Team for product inquiries.

TheStreet.com reported Carl Icahn increased his holdings in Hain Celestial of Melville, NY. Icahn Capital now owns 15% of the company’s share (which is 6.537 million shares).

Rhinebeck, NY-based Topical BioMedics, Inc., announced that its Topricin pain relief cream and Topricin Junior for children received the “Parent Tested, Parent Approved” Winner’s Seal of Approval. This large parent community, has over 40,000 volunteer parent testers.
