On December 11, 2014, the Congress passed the Designer Anabolic Steroid Control Act (DASCA), which will protect consumers from anabolic steroids that are falsely promoted as dietary supplements. The bill will help the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) identify and respond quickly when illegal drugs are sold. Additional anabolic steroids will be placed on the DEA Controlled Substance List.
