The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), the leading trade association for the dietary supplement and functional food industry, announced the addition of seven new companies to the association’s membership roster: Activ Nutritional, LLC, Ortho Molecular Products, Inc., Personalized Nutrition, LLC (VitaminPacks.com), Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton, Micro Quality Labs Inc., Supplement Safety Solutions, LLC and Q Laboratories.

Twinlab, based in Salt Lake City, UT, is now the newest executive member of the United Natural Products Alliance (UNPA), an association dedicated to assisting consumers with information about natural health products consisting of superior quality, reliability and benefits. “UNPA has been a great advocate for the industry for the last 25 years, and the Twinlab family of brands is proud to once again be a part of this organization,” said Naomi Whittel, CEO of Twinlab in a press release. “In rebuilding our company, we went back to our roots to get inspired for our vision for the future and have come full circle from our Nature’s Herb brand being one of the original founding members of UNPA to now Twinlab rejoining it today.”

City of Industry, CA–based AIDP and Anagenix have entered into an exclusive license and distribution agreement giving AIDP rights to market Anagenix kiwifruit-based ingredients, Actazin and Livaux. Based in New Zealand, Anagenix focuses on meeting consumer health needs through the scientific discovery of natural bioactives. “AIDP is thrilled to have signed this digestive health partnership with Anagenix and we will continue to add to the knowledge of the applications for this exciting kiwi-based ingredient line,” says Mark Thurston, president of AIDP. “We are dedicated to science-proven functional ingredients, and we’re very much aligned with Anagenix in this regard.” AIDP also reached a distribution agreement that will enable them exclusive rights to Naticol brand fish collagen peptides, produced by Weishardt International, based in Graulhet, France. Naticol will join AIDP’s vast ingredient line of scientifically researched marine hydrolyzed collagen designed for both skin and joint care.
