Charles (Chuck) Marble joined Wisdom Natural Brands of Gilbert, AZ, as chief operating officer, and Angus Flood will serve as the executive vice president for strategic development.

Irvine, CA-based Cyvex Nutrition hired Sabrina Hinkis to be its technical manager.

Hyla Cass, M.D., joined the educational board of Natural Factors of Everett, WA.

XanGo, LLC, based in Lehi, UT, hired Alex Treharne as senior vice president for Asia Pacific.

Manitoba Harvest Hemp Foods & Oils of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada recently created the position of vice-president of sales and selected Jody Perkins to fill the post.

Peter Folz is the newest addition to Washington, NJ-based Herbalist & Alchemist’s staff. He will serve as the company’s marketing coordinator.

Pam McWilliams is now the vice president of direct response for Iceland Health. This vitamin brand was recently acquired by Nature’s Products of Sunrise, FL.

Frutarom Ltd., with U.S. offices in Bergen, NJ, named Salvatore Gargano as general manager of its health business unit.

Short Hills, NJ-based OmniActive Health Technologies selected Rick Kaiser to be its director of sales.

Will Telligman will be the Organic Trade Association’s legislative and advocacy manager in its Washington, D.C. office.

In Memoriam
With much sadness, Kyowa Hakko USA announced the passing of Yoichiro Sugimura, its senior director of scientific affairs and business development. Said the company, “He had profound knowledge of nutrition and cosmetics and worked on many key programs and brands at Kyowa Hakko USA.” Sugimura had been with Kyowa since 1991, specifically with the U.S. division since 2006.
