 (WFC, Inc., publisher of WholeFoods Magazine) President Howard Wainer has undergone a kidney transplant at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. He received a donated kidney from Stacie Delos, longtime friend and sorority sister of Heather Wainer, WholeFoods Magazine’s publisher and Wainer’s daughter. Mr. Wainer says that the gift Delos has given him is unbelievable and he is forever grateful.
