Wakunaga Opens New Facility

Mira Loma, CA—Wakunaga of America opened a new facility, here, at the end of January and held a grand opening ceremony to mark the occasion. The site is Wakunaga’s largest plant expansion in 40 years, and is its third facility in Southern California.

The firm erected the building to make extra room for its production and distribution efforts. Stated Wakunaga president and CEO Kenro Nakamura, “We had to expand our operational capabilities to meet consumer demand for our products, especially our Kyolic Garlic Extract.” Other departments that will be housed in the new facilities include quality control, packaging, shipping and storage.
