Hadley, MA-based American River Nutrition has a new patent (#8,586,109) covering “compositions and methods of use of annatto tocotrienols (DeltaGold) with an appropriate spectrum of vitamin E that includes low or no alpha-tocopherol, high delta- and gamma-tocopherol, and high delta- and gamma-tocotrienol. Moreover, mixtures of annatto, palm, and/or rice nutrients (the three commercial sources of tocotrienols) are included in the patent.”
