Todd Johnson, Senior Director of Field Sales at i-Health, a subsidiary of DSM, has been named new chair of the Council for Responsible Nutrition’s Retailer Relations Forum. Succeeding Tom Mondragon, now CEO of Welly, Johnson will lead the Forum in fostering industry-retailer connections, generating new and growing existing business, and helping to expand education opportunities.

Bob’s Red Mill Natural Foods has welcomed Zeina Atoui as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Specialist, and Julia Person as Sustainability Manager. Atoui, who previously served the brand in Recruitment and Human Resources, will support the company’s goal of ensuring more equitable representation of Black, Indigenous, Latino, and Asian communities in its workforce, promoting equal opportunities for growth, and educating employee owners. Person will help lead and grow the company’s existing efforts, and help better define the role that sustainability will have in all facets of the company.

blk. International has partnered with health and fitness physician, author, and TV personality Dr. Melina Jampolis. She will serve as the brand’s Chief Medical and Nutrition Officer, acting as scientific advisor, spokesperson, and nutrition expert to help educate consumers and accelerate the company’s presence in the functional water category.

Kevin Johnson is the new President and CEO of Kenko International’s U.S. subsidiary based in Los Angeles. Johnson will be responsible for generating new business and managing key accounts.

Optimi Health Corp. has announced Justin D. Kirkland as Chief Science Officer. Kirkland was recently awarded a U.S. patent for the improved synthesis of the ergoline, 2-bromo-LSD.

Clasado Biosciences has announced that Doug King will join the business as Senior Sales Manager North America, where he will be responsible for developing new partnerships with nutraceutical and functional food brands.
