B&G Foods Inc., Parsippany, NJ has acquired Victoria Fine Foods Holding Company and Victoria Fine Foods, LLC, based in Brooklyn, NY from Huron Capital Partners, Detroit, MI and other sellers for approximately $70 million in cash. After it fully integrates Victoria Fine Foods, B&G projects that the brand will generate on an annualized basis net sales of approximately $41.0 million.
Tuscon, AZ-based DNX Foods has signed an agreement with Providence, RI-based United Natural Foods, Inc. (UNFI) to distribute its full line of grass-fed, organic meat bars to retailers across the country. This, just two months after entering the market. “We felt a natural connection with UNFI from the moment we met, and are thrilled to be working together with this values-based company with which we have a common purpose and passion for motivating healthy lifestyles,” said John Rooney, founder and chief executive officer of DNX Foods.
