“And when do you take time out for yourself?”

“Time out for myself?! Maybe after the kids are all in college, in 10 years.”

I’m analyzing her food plan and daily schedule… 6am wake up call with Moms-Taxi-Service beginning at 7:00am. Her day typically ends at midnight after the kids are in bed and chores done. 2 out of 3 meals are eaten in the car or at the office desk.

The truth is it’s not just busy Moms who don’t make time for themselves. It’s a problem plaguing everyone. Ambitious execs. Students juggling work and school. Even athletes, who know the importance of rest more than anyone.

“Susan, we’re going to infuse you with some power energy and a fundamental nutrient that might cure your insomnia within 72 hours.”

3 Core Supplements for ANY diet:
  1. Sea Vegetables / Blue Green Algae (more a food than a supplement - but most people will see it as a supplement.)
Sea vegetables are a powerhouse of nutrients that completely amplify the body. Sea vegetables are the ultra multi-vitamin with a special bonus: excellent bio-availability (extra important if you’re doing damage control from malabsorption.) Should be a staple in plant-based diets and due to its clean iron content, it’s excellent for those who are anemic or don’t get enough iron from their food. Easily mix into soups, salads, dressing, main dishes, and smoothies.

TIP:Look for certified metal and chemical free.

2. Magnesium

It’s estimated that over 50% of the developed world is magnesium deficient, up to 80% in some areas. Besides not absorbing other nutrients properly, the person might also feel moody, tired, and at the same time can’t sleep. In the case of insomnia, you might see results immediately. People often begin getting sound sleep within 3-4 days of taking magnesium.

TIP:Vary formats (dissolve in water vs pill form.) Also vary types of magnesium, preferably combined with calcium and vitamin D. Choose a few quality brands and do a rotation after completing each package.

3. MCT Oil

You know the benefits of coconut oil. MCT oil is an upgrade. “Medium-Chained Triglycerides” must have been the inspiration to the phrase “well oiled machine." Helps every part of the body function properly, improves cognitive function, boosts energy, increases metabolism, balances appetite, helps with weight loss,…and more. Often called “clean fuel for body and brain," it’s in my Top 10. Coconut oil also does all of the above, you just need more of it.

TIP:Separated into 4 groups (based on number of carbon chains) 6, 8, 10, 12. The lower the number, the more efficiently your body will absorb it.

Benefits for Those on a Specialty Diet

Specialty diet usually means your client is healing from something, whether it’s gluten damage, toxic diet, moving to a diabetic diet, etc. All 3 of the above supplements help heal, restore, and maintain better health without adding any unwanted side effects or stressing the organs. That’s what I called a solid solution.
