Durham, NC—Celebrating its 25th year in business, Counter Culture Coffee announced that it has achieved Certified B Corporation status. The brand also released its 2019 Transparency Report, which provides an analysis of their sustainability, price transparency, and carbon footprint measures.

“Counter Culture Coffee has been focused on providing exceptional coffee experiences since we were founded in 1995,” said Brett Smith, President and Founder of Counter Culture Coffee, in a press release. “Joining the legion of B Corps will help our team push ourselves in so many areas and get better every year. We have the transparency mindset in place.”

In addition to improving consumer relations, the brand is looking forward to connecting with like-minded companies, explained Bryan Duggan, Wholesale Operations Manager at Counter Culture Coffee and the lead for the company’s application process. He adds, “We are looking forward to utilizing the many resources available to continue improving our commitment to the environment across our entire company for years to come.”

Counter Culture has also expanded its education opportunities to include virtual tastings and brewing courses. Its website offers resources like Brewing Guides, complete with videos showing how to brew at home and the Coffee Taster’s Flavor Wheel, a tool to help coffee drinkers discover new flavors.
