New York, NY—Gathered Foods, makers of Good Catch plant-based seafood products, have announced the official opening of a new production facility in Heath, Ohio, in a press release.

The 42,500 square foot facility will be used specifically for high-tech production of Good Catch’s plant-based product offerings. It features state-of-the-art processing equipment. The facility currently has 52 employees, and is on track to expand to full capacity of up to 80 positions by the end of the year.

This is the continuation of what has proven to be a good year for Good Catch: In January, it secured a $36.8 million Series B Financing Roundand expanded its distribution into Tesco in the U.K.; more recently, it announced a joint venture with Bumble Bee Foods, andbacking from celebritiesWoody Harrelson, Shailene Woodley, Paris Hilton, and Lance Bass. The company has also recently launched a line offrozen entrees and appetizers.
