Melville, NY-based Hain Celestial Group, Inc. announced the acquisition of 3 Greek Gods LLC, including its Greek Gods brand of all-natural, Greek-style yogurt. Greek Gods founders will join Hain Celestial as general managers of Hain Celestial’s Greek Gods Division reporting to John Carroll, CEO of Hain Celestial united States. Greek Gods yogurt generated sales of over $10 million in calendar year 2009. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Helen’s Kitchen of Irvine, CA is re-branding its entire product line with a new carton design and layout, 11% more product for every single entrée, an extra vegetable serving in each meal, and the re-naming of Helen’s TofuSteaks as GardenSteaks.

Utah-based Augason Farms is now certified gluten free by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization.

Valley Ford Cheese Co. of Valley Ford, CA has been awarded the Certified Humane label for its cheese from Herndon, VA-based Humane Farm Animal Care.

Correction: A grocery product announced in the July issue of WholeFoods, Teazers from Santa Cruz Organic, has been discontinued. The company continues to offer a variety of still teas, sparkling beverages, juices and other items.
