Terra Bella, CA—Setton Pistachio raised over $71,000 for this year’s Relay for Life, the American Cancer Society’s signature fundraiser dedicated to helping communities combat cancer, according to a press release.
This is the sixth year in a row that Setton Farms has raised money for Relay for Life, through food sales, raffles, and the annual walk event. This year, the Setton Farms team Nuts for a Cure held 33 fundraisers to raise money and awareness prior to the Relay for Life event—they started planning in January, and held several each month leading up to the walk. The employees that make up the team walked in the relay on October 5th in support of cancer research, patient support, and cancer prevention education.
