Evofem, Inc. offers the Softcup menstrual cup as a new sanitary napkin/tampon alternative. The product is easy to insert, but the company says it fits better than a tampon and can be worn up to 12 hours without removal. The Softcup is made from a “non-irritating plastic containing medical elastomer and polyethylene.”
