American Botanical Council (ABC)
Provides education using science-based and traditional information to promote the responsible use of herbal medicine. Publishes the HerbalGram, HerbalClip and more.

American Herbal Products Association (AHPA)
Focused primarily on herbs and botanicals and herbal products. With 280+ members, the group’s mission is “to promote the responsible commerce of herbal products” and it seeks to “maintain and improve market opportunities for companies that sell herbs, herbal and botanical products, and other health-related products, including foods, beverages, and personal care products, and to ensure that consumers continue to enjoy informed access to a wide choice of goods.”

Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN)
CRN represents more than 70 dietary supplement manufacturers and ingredient suppliers. CRN members adhere to a strong code of ethics and comply with high quality standards under good manufacturing practices.

Natural Products Association (NPA)
NPA is the largest and oldest natural products industry non-profit in the United States. Its 1,900 members represent more than 10,000 retail, manufacturing, wholesale and distribution natural products businesses.

Organic & Natural Health Association
Through a partnership between companies & consumers, O&N brings together suppliers, manufacturers, finished product companies, retailers & consumer organizations to promote & advance the health and well-being of people, animals, plants and the planet.

Organic Trade Association (OTA)
OTA’s mission is to promote and protect organic trade to benefit the environment, farmers, the public, and the economy.

The Organic Center
Our unique mission is to conduct credible, evidence-based science on the health and environmental benefits of organic food and farming and communicate them to the public.

United Natural Products Alliance (UNPA)
UNPA’s members include dietary supplement and functional food companies that “share a commitment to provide consumers with natural health products of superior quality, benefit and reliability.” Membership is limited to 50 companies (40 full members and 10 analytical labs), which are vetted and voted on by current members.

Alliance for Natural Health USA (ANH-USA)
ANH-USA is an advocacy group that fights for sustainable health and freedom of choice in healthcare through “good science and good law.”

Citizens for Health
Consumer action groups dedicated to providing a voice and a platform for informed and effective health activism.

Natural Health Federation
An international nonprofit, consumer-education, health-freedom organization working to protect individuals’ rights to choose to consume healthy food, take supplements, and use alternative therapies without government restrictions.
