Kennesaw, GA—Deerland Enzymes, Inc. is now Deerland Probiotics & Enzymes, a switch made to reflect the company’s broader range of expertise and commitment to innovation. The change will be formally unveiled at SupplySide West.

“In light of our rapid growth in the probiotic space and the recent acquisition of National Enzyme Company, we feel that now is the time to freshen up our logo and make our company name more direct, concise, and reflective of our commitment to both probiotic and enzyme-based formulations and science,” said CEO Scott Ravech, in a statement.

Deerland’s latest commitment to probiotics was made back in 2016, when the company opened a state-of-the-art facility specifically designed for the production and testing of probiotic supplements. The facility was built with multiple laboratories, Sanisteel wall panels with antibacterial properties, a floor plan designed to minimize waste, and total environmental control, the company said. Deerland added “Deerland Probiotics” into the logo at the time, but didn’t officially change the name or logo.

In addition, the new name reflects the company's expanded capabiilties since its July acquisition of the National Enzyme Co. (NEC). NSF International-registered NEC formulates, manufactures, packages and labels supplements.

Deerland Probiotics & Enzymes specializes in customized enzyme- and probiotic-based formulations. They also offer their own line of branded products.
