Washington, D.C.–Doris Kearns Goodwin, Ph.D., a presidential historian, public speaker and Pulitzer Prize-winning author, will headline the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), “Breakfast with…” session atThe Conference: CRN’s Annual Symposium for the Dietary Supplement Industry.

The Conference, an educational and networking event, will be held at theRitz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, in Dana Point, CA, in conjunction withThe Workshop: CRN’s Day of Science from October 26-29.

Goodwin, who is also a scholar of the U.S. Executive branch, has made frequent appearances and commentary on shows such as CNN, Fox,Meet the Pressand author of six books, will share on the last day, Saturday, October 29th, “insights on the current political landscape,” while also interpreting it in the context of history.

“This breakfast address promises to offer an elegant alternative to the election year chatter,” said Steve Mister, president and CEO of CRN, in a press release. “No matter where they rest on the political spectrum, attendees will find themselves captivated by Ms. Goodwin as she decodes the events of the past year with authoritative grace.”

An additional speaker will close out CRN’s “Breakfast with…” session, which will be announced on the trade associationwebsite.
