New Port Richey, FL — Independent natural retailers and their staff attended SENPA’s 4th Annual Strategies for Success Road Show from May – August in the host cities of Jacksonville, FL; Chattanooga, TN; Raleigh, NC, and Houston, TX.
“It has been a summer of expansion, growth and exhilaration for the engagement in SENPA’s 2018 Road Shows touching 57 stores with close to 100 attendees,” said Renee Southard, owner of Organic Marketplace, Gastonia N.C., and SENPA education chair. “The nature of going back to our roots, speaking, sharing and being a resource to one another is the foundation of the independent retailer.”
SENPA offered a free one-day, five-hour education event in each city including a Retail Roundtable hosted by Ed Jones, owner, Nutrition World, Chattanooga, TN, discussing Ways and Means to Compete with Online Sales.
Each Road Show hosted four keynote speakers sponsored by Natural Factors, Regal Labs, Vital Planet and EuroPharma to area retailers and their staff.
“Education is the avenue that sets brick and mortar stores apart from the online, large natural and vitamin chain stores,” said Debra Short, executive director, SENPA, Inc. “Our association is committed to offer valuable educational resources for the independent retailer by working together to build profitable partnerships and a vital industry community.”
SENPA’s education committee will announce the cities and dates for its 2019 Strategies for Success Road Show at SOHO EXPO held in Orlando, FL, from Nov. 29 – Dec. 2, 2018.
