Harleysville, PA—Natural Marketing Institute (NMI) is presenting its 2019 China Consumer Sustainability Report. The report is 49 pages long and includes consumer insights with data and analysis, charts, and illustrations, according to a press release.

NMI conducted a survey to understand adults’ attitudes and behaviors regarding sustainability and the environment, the release says. Highlights include:
  • A majority of Chinese consumers report feeling more responsible for protecting the environment today than they have in the past
  • Chinese consumers are in search of information on how they can protect the environment
  • Demand for product transparency is on the rise
  • Consumers still possess a level of skepticism regarding the benefits of green products when compared to conventional ones
