Promotions, new hires, retirements, in memoriam.

Santa Cruz, CA-based Blue Horizon Wild retained Edward Cassano of ERC Consulting as its senior vice president and director of sustainability.

Chris Peruzzi joined Reserveage Organics, based in Gainesville, FL, as national sales manager.

Schiff Nutrition of Salt Lake City, UT appointed Tarang Amin as CEO, president and director. He replaced Bruce Wood in early March.

The Natural Products Association of Washington, D.C. announced that Seva Raskin joined its staff as membership recruitment manager. In other news, Daniel Fabricant, Ph.D., (former vice president of global government and scientific affairs) left the organization to become at the director of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s division of dietary supplement programs.

Bai Brands, based in Princeton, NJ, Kat Haddon as its marketing coordinator.

Peter Kaye is not the vice president of marketing at Honest Tea of Bethesda, MD.

Draper, UT-based Nuriche announced it has hired Kevin Larson to be its new vice president of marketing.

Cara Welch, Ph.D., has been promoted to the position of vice president of scientific and regulatory affairs at the Natural Products Association of Washington, D.C.

Pacific Nutritional, Inc., based in Vancouver, WA, hired Ed Kinon to be its new marketing manager.
