PIC/S GMP-certified palm phytonutrients producer ExcelVite, based in Edison, NJ has completed the quality/audit inspection of its Malaysian production site by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The FDA inspection included both ExcelVite’s production plant and Quality Management System. Both were found in compliance with the FDA’s Title 21 Current Good Manufacturing Practices (21 CF-cGMP). “As part of the company’s commitment to ensure that our QMS is compliant with current good manufacturing practice (cGMP), we are proud to know that our existing system meets the quality criteria and requirements of the US FDA. It is of utmost importance to ensure that the entire system is adhered to and implemented at all times in order to ensure product quality and safety, which is our commitment to customers,” said  YT Chan, ExcelVite quality assurance manager, in a statement from the company.

Embria Health Sciences has partnered with Gee Lawson to distribute its flagship ingredient, EpiCor, to countries in Western Europe including United Kingdom, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, the Scandinavia and Benelux regions. Gee Lawson is the Nutritional Division of LEHVOSS UK. Gee Lawson specializes in the sourcing, technical approval, sales and marketing of specialty ingredients for the Food Supplement, Functional Foods and Animal Feed and Life Sciences industries. “With our continued success in USA and other countries throughout the world, we are excited about this opportunity to expand into Western Europe, collectively among the largest dietary supplement markets in the world,” says Jeff Cannon, president and CEO of Diamond V, the parent company of Embria Health Sciences, in a press release.
