Washington, D.C.—The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) announced in a press release that four new companies have joined the association, three as voting members and one as an associate member.

The voting members are:

Genesee Nutrition—A CBD health and wellness company that provides CBD-infused sports nutrition products to promote a healthy and active lifestyle. The company, based in Colorado, offers products including hemp-infused plant-based protein powders, protein bars, and wellness shots.

Hilma—Develops natural, herbal-based remedies. The company will launch in January 2020 with the aim of making herbals more accessible to a mainstream customer. Hilma formulates with clinicians and invests in their own clinical research.

Natures Crops International—A vertically integrated natural products ingredient business. The company manufactures a range of specialty oils and contracts specialty crops with international farmers to commercialize new and biodiverse plant species and develop regenerative, traceable, sustainable, and risk-mitigated supply chains.

The associate member isFaegre Baker Daniels LLP, a full-service provider known for its nationally ranked food litigation and regulatory practice. The company teams up with leading food and dietary supplement companies to devise tactical business solutions, forge supply chain relationships and bring products to launch. The company counsels businesses on GRAS determinations, NDI notifications, Prop 65, and GMPs.
