Asbury Park, NJ—What's Up With Supps held its second in-person networking event on November 16, 2020, at Porta Pizza in Asbury Park, NJ. Diana Morgan, Head of Scientific & Regulatory Affairs at Care/of and an organizer of the event, toldWholeFoods: "The mission of What's Up With Supps is to be the catalyst for creating connections within the Health & Nutrition Products Industry to promote unity, growth, and innovation through networking, mentorship, and professional development activities."

With strict safety precautions taken, Morgan says the event was a success. "We had an amazingly diverse group of attendees from raw material suppliers, finished product marketers, contract manufacturers, fitness enthusiasts, and even a female pro bodybuilder! Everyone enjoyed the networking opportunity to reconnect with old colleagues, make new connections, and have fun!"

It didn't end with networking, though. In addition, Morgan says "There were several activities going on such as dietary supplement trivia, drawing of door prizes and the physical challenge of the night—a push-up contest! The push-up contest was divided into women's and men's, with the winner of each facing off! The person that did the most push-ups in 60 seconds won. The females rocked the competition in heels, while the men went head to head for volume. The competition was fierce but Russ Michelson from RB Health ended up taking home the gold with a total of 90 push-ups!"
