Eugene, OR—GloryBee, a 45-year-old honey and natural ingredient company, announced the permanent closure of their Highway 99 and Airport Rd., Eugene, location. Customers will still be able to purchase GloryBee products and beekeeping supplies via e-commerce, as well as from other local retailers, the company announced in a press release.

“This decision was not made lightly," said RaeJean Wilson, daughter of GloryBee founders Dick and Pat Turanski. "My parents began selling to customers out of their family garage in 1975, and the Factory Store grew and evolved over the years to what it is today.”

GloryBee’s primary business is supplying ingredients to food & beverage manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors, retailers, and bakeries.

“As we celebrate our legacy, we also want to celebrate this as a positive change which will allow the company to continue to streamline business operations and focus on paving the way to a profitable future,” added Wilson in the press release.
