Vitafoods will be hosting a Digital Week "dedicated to supporting and inspiring the nutraceutical industry" by giving it access to the latest science, insight, and trends, according to a press release. The event will be held May 11-15, 2020.

The event will provide a carefully curated series of webinars and podcasts covering topics including European ingredients trends, healthy aging, immunity, sports nutrition, and sustainability. It will also feature product showcases and provide access to a range of downloadable reports, articles, and galleries, which will be made available for free throughout the week. Confirmed partners of the event are FMCG Gurus and Innova Market Insights.

Chris Lee, Managing Director, Health and Nutrition Network, Europe, at Informa Markets, said in the release: “In light of the unprecedented challenges facing the global industry, we wanted to bring the nutraceutical community together in a way that allowed us to collaborate as we usually do in person to understand how we can continue to support consumer health into the future.

“The Vitafoods name is synonymous with showcasing the latest expertise and driving forward the most important conversations, and our Digital Week will build on these commitments,” Lee continued. “The expansion of our digital offering, which already includes Vitafoods Insights, means we are able to facilitate dialogues and invite the industry to further their learning opportunities through engaging with leading experts and exclusive content. By creating an online space where businesses and individuals can connect to share their opinions, insights and ideas, we’re ensuring the continued provision of innovation, inspiration and information on the topics that really matter today and for the future.”
