Faye Glazer, a natural products pioneer, passed away at the end of January. With roots in retailing, Glazer worked at Jandi’s Nature Way in Oceanside, NY, beginning in 1982, and moved to Cornucopia Natural Foods in 1987, where she stayed for 12 years. Glazer went on to become a founding member of Wildfire Sales Brokerage Firm, and launched several natural brands.

Glazer was passionate about educating others on organic and natural, a lifestyle in which she strongly believed. Rick Antonelli,  Galaxy Nutritional Foods CEO, and formerly of United Natural Foods Inc., said, “She immediately struck me as the embodiment of what our industry stands for both as a professional and a consumer. Faye loved representing products that potentially could have a positive impact on someone’s life.”

Added Janice Hall, president of Natural Network International, “She was a bright light and a woman who lived the integrity of her mission and vision. She left footprints for others to follow.”
