Rhinebeck, NY—Topical BioMedics (maker of Topricin) celebrated its 20th anniversary with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in late September. Topricin friends and family, media and the Rhinebeck Chamber of Commerce were in attendance to honor the company, which was founded by decorated U.S. Marine Corps combat veteran Lou Paradise (president, chief of research, and Topricin inventor), Aurora Paradise (COO) and Steve Duricko (vice president).
During combat and rescue missions, Mr. Paradise sustained traumatic injuries and has a unique first-hand knowledge of physiology and the need for pain relief. His experiments with his own combination of homeopathic biomedicines led to the development of the first Topricin Pain Relief and Healing Cream formula. The product launched in 1994 at a local county fair, and has developed an incredible following over the past 20 years. The Topricin line has expanded to include Topricin for Children and Topricin Foot Therapy Cream.
He stated, “Topricin works because it addresses what is actually causing the pain. Pain is the body’s unique, vital signal when we are injured, and is saying ‘I am trying to repair damaged or inflamed muscle, joint, or nerve cells, and need some help to balance healing chemistries to get there.’”
The company recently attained Certified B Corp status and also launched the TopTrack mobile application to provide shoppers with on-the-go pain management, product recommendations and rewards.
