South Plainfield, NJ—WholeFoods Magazine, one of the country’s most distinguished trade publications for natural products retailers, will serve as a media partner for the American Conference Institute’s (ACI) Third Annual Legal, Regulatory and Compliance Forum on Dietary Supplements. The event will take place at the Carlton Hotel in New York City on June 24–25, 2015.
“With increased interest from lawmakers and NY’s attorney general about how dietary supplements are regulated and marketed—not to mention staff vacancies at FDA’s Division of Dietary Supplement Programs—it’s imperative for this industry to keep abreast of the political, legislative, regulatory and judicial issues that affect natural products businesses,” stated Heather Wainer, publisher of WholeFoods Magazine. “I’m excited that WholeFoods Magazine will be able to bring readers key information about these issues from this must-attend dietary supplements conference.”
ACI’s Third Annual Legal, Regulatory and Compliance Forum on Dietary Supplements is an educational forum that allows members of the dietary supplements industry to connect and discuss the diverse legal, regulatory and compliance issues and developments that affect business decisions and long-term strategies.
ACI also recently announced that this third iteration of its Dietary Supplements event would be produced in collaboration with the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN). Steve Mister, CRN’s CEO and president, and Scott Bass, head of Global Life Sciences at Sidley Austin will co-chair this event.
