Sprouts Farmers Market, headquartered in Phoenix, Az, has partnered up with Vitamin Angels to run in-store campaigns at more than 210 stores in August and October. This is the third time that Sprouts has supported Vitamin Angels in this manner, with the past two campaigns benefitting more than 400,000 at-risk children. During the August fundraiser, the firm donated 25 cents for each specially marked product purchase, with matching up to $10,000. The October fundraiser is an at-checkout promotion whereby shoppers can round-up purchases or make donations in support of Vitamin Angels.
The Prescott Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new United Natural Foods Inc. distribution center in Prescott, Az.
