Washington, D.C.—The Natural Products Association (NPA) announced that it will hold its 19th Annual Natural Products Day on April 12–13, 2016 in Washington, D.C.
Natural Products Day, held each spring, allows all industry stakeholders nationwide to connect with senators and representatives to discuss the importance and benefits of natural products.
With increased efforts from attorneys general who want to “crack down” on the supplement industry, the timing of the meetings allows industry members the opportunity to reinforce opposition.
Day One starts with lobby day training at 1:00, followed by an open house at NPA’s new national offices and then NPA’s PAC reception.
On the second day, a group picture will be taken on Capitol Hill, followed by attendees’ meeting directly with lawmakers and congressional staff members. The day will close with an additional reception.
The event is free for all attendees and all meetings are arranged by NPA. Registration information is available online.
