Gironde, France--Activ’Inside, a French natural product company specializing in saffron and grape raw materials, recently attained the Food Safety System Certification 22000 (FSSC 22000) for food safety requirements. The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), which installed standards for the global food industry, recognizes the FSSC 22000 certification.

The FFSC 22000 includes a food safety management system, which integrates the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point. It also includes a requirement for implementing and maintaining prerequisite programs to help control food safety hazards. The FFSC 22000 also requires Food Defense and Food Fraud prevention programs.

In a press release, Activ’inside called this certification essential to their company because it ensures they are effectively controlling food safety hazards, establishes transparency with customers, guarantees higher safety with ingredients, and meets international safety standards.
