New Hope’s sales account managers will work with those who were scheduled to exhibit at Expo West to determine next steps, including reviewing Expo West 2022 exhibit space options. Exhibitors can contact their account managershere.
New Hope Network was hopeful that postponing the event until May would allow it to occur in person, the press release states, but the company “has reached the incredibly difficult decision to cancel the in-person Expo West event this Spring.” Instead, efforts will be focused on an enhanced Expo East event in September in Philadelphia, PA.
The expanded Expo East will connect buyers and sellers, while focusing on organic and regenerative agriculture and climate action. The event will also look to foster justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in the industry, the press release says.
Expo East will be co-located with Biofach America.

“The decision to refocus our efforts on the Fall event was reached through careful consideration of current government restrictions, anticipated timelines around re-opening in California, and industry feedback,” the press release states. “We recognize the tremendous efforts and investments that go into participating in our events, and we know prolonging this decision would have prevented our community from making informed choices on time, budget and resource allocations later in 2021, and beyond.”
