Asheville, NC—Earth Fare is featuring Hickory Nut Gap Meats (HNG), a pioneer in the field of regenerative farming, on this month’s Fresh Forum, a monthly webinar series. The purpose of the series is to give members of the farming and sustainability community a platform to share educational resources with viewers, relating to making sustainable lifestyles easier to achieve.

This month's installment will focus on the importance of responsible farming practices and locally sourced products. The webinar will feature Jamie Ager, Director of Marketing and a fourth-generation farmer for HNG, which began working with Earth Fare in 2005, supplying grass-fed beef and pasture-raised pork.  The webinar will highlight key aspects of regenerative farming and making sustainable and responsible food choices.

“Jamie and Hickory Nut Gap are truly a part of the Earth Fare family, and they’ve been helping us supply thousands of American families with clean, healthy foods for decades,” said Laurie Aker, Director of Marketing for Earth Fare, in a press release. “We’re excited to share their story with our audience, and help spread the word about why the regenerative agriculture they practice is so important.”

Ager, who is also co-owner of HNG, added, “You don’t have to be a farmer to understand how conventional farming methods can damage the land–and are hard on the animals, too. This generation has a responsibility to our descendants to be good stewards of the land we are entrusted with, and we’re passionate about sharing our knowledge with consumers so they can make informed decisions at the checkout.”

The webinar will take place this  June, 22, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. Reserve your spot here
