How Fresh Thyme supports Feeding America:

Round Up at the Register

Year round, at all store locations, customers have the opportunity to donate when they check out.

Food Rescue Program

Surplus food and meals are donated to community food banks. Through these efforts, the grocer has donated an additional 900,000 meals in 2023 alone.

Grab and Give Initiative

During the holiday season, customers can purchase pre-bagged groceries that will go directly to local food banks.

Employees also participate in volunteer opportunities throughout Northern Illinois Food Bank and Feeding America West Michigan Food Bank. Additionally, the company encourages local food bank partners to participate in in-store events that celebrate customers’ donations and raises awareness of Feeding America in the community.
