May Yamada-Lifton has been named as the new Chief Executive Officer of Maypro Group. Yamada-Lifton joined Maypro as chief operating officer in 2021 after a 20-year career in the pharmaceuticals industry. During her 13 years at Pfizer, she led numerous key initiatives in internal strategy, commercial development, and marketing across numerous regions including Japan, China and Europe. Company founder Steve Yamada will assume the role of Chairman, overseeing special projects and supporting the group’s Asia business. “I am very proud of my father’s incredible accomplishments as an Asian immigrant who built a large business from zero” said Yamada-Lifton. “I hope to continue his legacy as an Asian-American female CEO.”
Rodale Institute announced that Jessica Student will serve as the global agricultural research and education nonprofit’s Chief Impact Officer. Student will lead the Institute’s Development, Marketing, and Communications divisions, as well as oversee the Institute’s forthcoming capital campaign. She will report to Rodale Institute CEO Jeff Tkach.Â
Two members of the White Egret team have received promotions. Savannah Wareham, who has been with the company since 2019, was promoted from Shipping Lead to Sales Representative. Shannon Lynch Wenzel was promoted to the role of Warehouse Manager.Â
The United Natural Products Alliance (UNPA) honored Heather Granato with the UNPA Ignition Liftoff Award for inspiring and igniting people, careers, and causes for more than three decades.
