Ingredion Incorporated has introduced VITESSENCE Pea 100 HD, a pea protein optimized for cold-pressed bars. The new formula helps cold-pressed bars maintain softness through shelf life and adds nutritional value to boost consumer preference, the company says. It offers a preferred texture and sensory attributes, without tasting chalky or gritty. The ingredient delivers a minimum of 84% protein on a dry basis, enabling “good” or “excellent” source of protein claims.
