Syensqo has launched Riza, a rosemary-based range of natural flavors and antioxidants for use in food preservation. This ingredient is in response to consumer demands for more natural ingredients, the company says. Traditionally, rosemary extract makes up more than a third of total natural preservatives used in foods. This range of products can be used in many applications including meat, bakery, instant meals, oil and fat-based food products. It can also be used in pet foods or feed ingredients, and beverages.
