Dr. Sellman authored several books on women's wellness and natural remedies, including Hormone Heresy and Hemp Health Revolution: The A-Z Health Benefits of Hemp Extract. She passed in June of 2024.

"It is a loss to the health world and to all her friends and family," commented Ann Louise Gittleman, Ph.D., CNS. "Dr. Sherrill Sellman was a true pioneer in the health and healing world. Her light shined so brightly as she educated and wrote so early on about bio-identical hormones, cell phone dangers, and natural therapies for a myriad of conditions. She was also a very close professional associate with such a generous spirit and love of life! I laughed with her on so many happy occasions as we shared the lecture circuit together.  Although her life tragically was cut short, I feel some measure of comfort in knowing that  her memory will be an inspiration and blessing for those of us privileged to have called her 'friend.' May you rest in peace, dear Dr. Sherrill!

Dr. Sellman also was a dear friend of Frankie Boyer, award-winning host of The Frankie Boyer Show, who shared, "Dr. Sherrill Sellman was a true visionary that never sold out, never. She fought for our rights to make our own decisions, including our bodies. Her favorite quote about difficult situations was: Yet to be revealed. And Your words are so powerful, make them positive, no negative self talk."

In posts on social media, members of the holistic health community and those whose lives had been positively impacted by Dr. Sellman's works remembered her as a pioneer who changed lives for the better.
