Distinctive Approach
Greenvit prides itself on providing standardized, maltodextrin-free berry ingredients like elderberry, tar cherry and aronia, and providing exclusive blends featuring berry ingredients sourced from proven and approved suppliers throughout the EU. Once acquired, the raw materials are continuously tested for microbiological and physicochemical parameters, identifying active substances, and for residues of unwanted contaminants, the company says.
Greenvit CEO, Rafal Pietruszynski, spoke on the company's unique approach to providing customers with its botanical ingredients (conventional and organic) and organic berries/l “Our berry ingredients are tested for purity and authenticity by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR),” Pietruszynski notes. “NMR is fit for purpose and is one of the most accurate test method to defend against adulteration. Purity, efficacy, safety and standardization are pillars of strength to assure a high standard of premium quality.”
Greenvit's products are manufactured in a state-of-the-art facility with advanced tech and tools like UPLC and HPLC chromatographs with DAD detectors and UV-VIS spectrophotometer to determine biologically active substances in raw materials and plant extracts, based on current pharmacopoeias (Ph. Eur., USP), and scientific literature. With an already-established presence in other parts of the world, Pietruszynski is looking to create that same reputation amongst North American clients: “Having established Greenvit firmly throughout Europe and in Asia, we look forward to working with customers in North America to help them achieve superior quality, green, sustainable and proven botanical ingredients.”
