On Monday, February 3rd, memorial services were held for Scott W. Seering. The proud husband and father of two passed away on Thursday, January 23, at the age of 70. He is survived by wife Barbara Seering; his daughters, Lindsay Seering and Lauryn Seering; his sister, Jill Solinsky; his niece, Bobbi del Plaine; and his stepchildren, Tim O’Dowd, Tiffany (Brent) Larsen, and Sean O’Dowd.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, Seering began his career at Burroughs Office Machine Supplies and Hsu's Ginseng Enterprises, Inc., before joining Lotus Brands, Inc., in 1991, where he presided as Chief Marketing Officer. An avid outdoorsman and car enthusiast, Seering was a well-respected member of the natural products industry.
Adam Goodman, President, Nature's Supplement Brokers Brand Development, spoke highly of his former colleague. "It was a true honor having Scott as my friend these past 25 years," Goodman shared. "He was the driving force behind Lotus Brands. More importantly, he was a good, decent, wonderful human being that will be missed by everyone. I looked forward to seeing him and his wife Barb at a show or a dinner. I am having trouble understanding that won't happen anymore. My condolences to Barb and his family (as well as the Tick Tock Diner and Green Bay Packers) who will miss him deeply."
Santosh Krinsky, Founder, Lotus Brands, shared his thoughts on the passing of his friend: "Before he started working with us at Lotus Brands in 1991, Scott was already a respected and trusted friend and colleague in the natural products industry. He helped us build our business and create lasting relationships. A large number of people were touched by his warmth, his humanity and his caring way of ensuring positive results for everyone. I was shocked and saddened to learn of his sudden passing, and send my deepest condolences to his Barb and his children."
