On January 25th, 2025, Philip Margolis passed away at the age of 75. The former Organic Trade Association (OTA) President and Neshaminy Valley Organic Natural Foods Distribution Co-Founder was known as a true driving force within the Organic movement. He is survived by his son, Nathan Margolis, sister Norma Margolis, brother Gene Margolis and wife Susan, nephew Matthew Margolis, niece Rebecca Margolis and his longtime partner Susan Magidson.
In lieu of flowers, the Margolis family is encouraging friends and colleagues to make donations to Guardian Foundation, Pig Placement Network or any charity or cause in honor of his dedication to giving back.
A private Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on March 1, 2025.
