San Francisco, CA — Sun Basket, a meal delivery service featuring organic and sustainable produce, has added three new meal plans — Vegan, Pescatarian and Mediterranean — while increasing its total number of weekly recipe options to 18.
Options are available to choose two, three or four recipes per week, choose premium proteins on select meals, double up on recipes for entertaining or leftovers, and select from eight custom meal plans.
“Our new Vegan, Pescatarian, and Mediterranean menus are a direct result of our customers’ strongly expressed interest,” said Adam Zbar, CEO and Co-Founder of Sun Basket in a press release. "We are committed to bringing consumers the variety and convenience they want and need to cook and eat healthy, no matter what their dietary needs are.
Natural foods retailers already attuned to the trend in healthy eating might consider introducing these options as pre-bundled offerings in store to capture the convenience-craving consumer. Sun Basket's pricing averages $10.99 to $11.99 per serving
