Washington, D.C.—The National Products Association (NPA), based here, has announced that Daniel Fabricant, Ph.D., will be its new chief executive officer (CEO) and executive director. Fabricant had previously served as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Director of the Division of Dietary Supplement Programs for three years.

NPA President Roxanne Green called Fabricant the “perfect choice” for this position, adding that he “knows the industry as well, if not better, than anyone.”

Fabricant says his chief priority is ensuring that the NPA remains the top organization for advocacy and regulatory engagement. “Now is the time to take our productivity to the next level,” which he says will be achieved through hard work and growing the NPA’s membership.
