The survey was conducted in Spring 2021, on pediatricians throughout the country with children between the ages of 2 and 11. All pediatricians involved said they either have used or would be willing to use an OTC acetaminophen product for treating their own children’s pain and fever. The participants were shown the front of the packaging for both the Genexa product and the Tylenol group of products, as well as a list of the corresponding ingredients, and were then asked which, if any, they would prefer to give to their own children. 68% selected Genexa’s product.
Genexa’s Kids’ Pain & Fever doesn’t include high fructose corn syrup, sucralose, or artificial colors or ingredients. Instead, it features ingredients like organic agave syrup and citrus extract.
“I am so proud of the parents and people who worked tirelessly to develop clean medicines for kids,” shared Dr. Maila Coleman, pediatrician with Kiamichi Family Medical Center and a member of Genexa’s Healthcare Professionals Network. “It feels good to be able to give my patients an effective medicine made with clean ingredients, and parents respond so positively when I share the ‘why’ behind the brand.”

Genexa makes clean OTC medicines for infants, kids, and adults. The company has an Ex-List of ingredients that are never used in its products, including talc, common allergens like gluten and lactose, sorbitol, artificial dyes, synthetic binders, and more.“We started Genexa as new parents because we felt people, our kids in particular, deserved clean options when sick,” noted Genexa Cofounders Max Spielberg and David Johnson. “Being able to give parents a choice with the clean ingredients we offer in our Kids’ Pain + Fever product, and knowing that pediatricians are amongst those parents that prefer our clean ingredient profiles for their own kids over the category leader in a side-by-side ingredient comparison, is a huge moment of validation for us. We are excited to be one step further in our mission to offer kids, as well as adults, clean medicines across all OTC categories.”
