The 36th annual Hungerthon fundraiser and awareness drive is a multifaceted campaign that runs through the holiday season. Donations will help communities to safely grow, store, and distribute nutritious food to people in immediate need; organize and advocate for long-term solutions to hunger locally; and build power nationally to end hunger.
These are all goals, according to the press release, shared by Haddish, who stated: “As a brand ambassador for vitafusion Gummy Vitamins, I am excited to help those in need with access to nutritious food heading into the holiday season and work with a brand that shares my commitment to supplying delicious nutrition for all. What people eat can have a huge impact on their overall health. I love working with vitafusion and WhyHunger to educate people about their health and remind them that not everyone has equal access to healthy food, which together we can change.”

Last year, WhyHunger’s critical resources including its Hotline and Find Food Database connected over 1 million people to free and nutritious food—a big impact in a year when over 38 million people lived in food insecure households, according to the USDA’s Food Security Status of U.S. Households in 2020. And that’s just the latest number—WhyHunger has raised millions of dollars in the fight to end hunger since it was launched over 30 years ago.For more information and to support this year’s Hungerthon, head tohungerthon.org.For ways to learn more, get involved, and act, visitwhyhunger.org/vitafusion/.
