Taylor finished the 2021 season leading all professional running backs in rushing yards (1,811) and touchdowns (20), according to a press release from Ascent Protein. He is the youngest player in professional football history to reach 2,000 scrimmage yards (with a total of 2,171) and 20 scrimmage touchdowns in a single season. He finished his collegiate career as the sixth all-time leading rusher and the first player in history to rush for more than 6,000 yards in a three-year span.
