Modern Sprout is a line of windowsill planter boxes for home gardeners. The self-sustaining boxes use a hidden hydroponics system to grow plants automatically. They come in several constructions, like High Gloss White and Reclaimed Wood. The company has also added Garden Jars, mason jars that use a passive hydroponic system called “wicking” to bring water up to plant roots.
