Asheville, NC —"Out of an abundance of caution," King Bio issued a voluntary nationwide consumer recall of 32 of its infant and children's products as a precaution against microbial contamination.
In an announcement published Aug. 22 by the Food & Drug Administration, the company said, "A small percentage of our products produced betweenAug. 10, 2015and August 2018have tested positive for microbial contamination.
"Administration or use of drug products with microbial contamination, could potentially result in increased infections that may require medical intervention, and could result in infections that could be life threatening to certain individuals. King Bio has not received reports of injury or illness to date."

King Bio is notifying its distributors and customers by letter and arranging for return and/or replacement of all recalled products. Consumers/distributors/retailers that have product which is being recalled should discontinue use/distribution and contact King Bio atrecall@kingbio.com to make arrangements to return product. These products were distributed nationwide to distributors and retail stores between August 2017 and July 2018.

As you may have seen, our company voluntarily recalled our line of children’s products this week due to potential microbial contamination.
Within the past two weeks, microbial contamination was discovered in two children’s products, but as an added measure of caution, we chose to recall all the children’s products manufactured from August 2015 to August 2018.
As a company dedicated to the mission of producing safe medicine, and out of an abundance of caution, we have chosen to go far beyond a traditional recall of only the affected products.
In fact, no injury or harm has ever been reported due to any of our products in our 29 years of providing safe, natural and pure medicines.
