Sabinsa Corp. of East Windsor, NJ, now has four new patents, bringing its total to 91. The newest patents include an Australian patent for the processing technique behind Ocufors; a New Zealand patent for a unique formulation of Saberry, Cococin and PeptiSelene/PeptiSelect; a Taiwan patent for Polysal and its ability to modulate the expression of the pro-inflammatory cytokines network; and a Eurasian patent for a dermal papilla protective formulation blending ingredients Saberry and Cococin.
Novel Ingredient Services of West Caldwell, NJ, has met the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 for the supply and processing of botanical and nutraceutical raw materials. The company opened a second manufacturing facility that triples its blending capabilities and more than doubles granulation, roller compaction and high-shear granulation capacity. The 40,000-ft2 facility is located in East Hanover, NJ.
